Please come and join us in celebrating Veterans Day at the third annual Veterans and Friends Ball on November 9th, 2019.
Cocktail reception will begin at 5:00 pm and last until 6:30 pm with light hors d'oeuvres, and cash bar available for refreshment. Our silent auction will also begin at this time and close at 7:50 pm. Seating for dinner will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Members of the Blue Hen Veterans and Friends, Inc. board of directors will provide brief remarks to guests and then dinner will be served.
Menu: Grilled Rosemary Chicken, Shrimp Scampi over pasta, Pesto Cellentani, Italian White Bean Salad, Caesar Salad, Seasonal Vegetables, Mini Ciabattas with Basil Oil, and Tiramisu
Music and dance shall begin no later than 8:00 pm and last until 11:00 pm. The cash bar will be available throughout the event for refreshment.
We want to recognize The University of Delaware Alumni Association (UDAA) for being a primary sponsor of this event for a second year in a row.

3rd Annual Veterans & Friends Ball, hosted by Blue Hen Veterans & Friends (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) and the Blue Hen Veterans at the University of Delaware. The recommended dress code is black tie, formal, or military dress uniform as appropriate.
Who:
This event is open to the public! Anyone and everyone who is interested in celebrating Veterans Day with veterans in the local community is welcome to attend. While we love children, we ask you to please leave the kiddos at home for this event.

The cocktail reception will be from 5:00-6:30 pm
Dinner and music will follow from 6:30-11:00 pm

Purchasing Tickets:
Guests can purchase tickets online using ticket leap and reserve seating. There is an additional processing fee to purchase a ticket online and use the reserved seating service.
